He doesn't know how over the past 40 years, when my life was nuts, he soothed my soul.
For awhile, my life had gotten so bad, I couldn't even listen to his music, because of the memories it brought back.
But I'm recovering. No it's not drugs, or rehab, or anything like that -- but it doesn't matter.
I'm laying out in the sun right now. And here he is, 40 years later, still soothing my soul.
I wonder if he has any real idea of how important his music has been -- to those of us who understood him. He understood us.
Thank You Neil. To me you are "the comforter".
God bless you.
