Feel free to go into as much or as little explanation as you like. Right now, I've got Neil's "On The Beach" (the song) playing over and over again. The entire album is beautiful. I'm not sure why I've singled out the title track at the moment. I really need him right now, though, that I know for certain.

I'm listening to "Fleet Foxes" at the moment, their Sun Giant ep and eponymous album. Really fantastic stuff, amazing vocal harmonies reminiscent of the Beach Boys and CSNY. Scored some tickets to see them live in London in November too

Currently listening to the first Buffalo Springfield album a lot. . . it isn't fantastic or anything, but I'm still enjoying the experience.
I've also been listening to Joni Mitchell - Song to a Seagull, Bob Dylan - Bringing it all Back Home, and Zuma a lot lately

buffalo springfields 1st album isnt fantastic? it certainly is to me. Yeah. . . I mean there are parts of it that I really like, but in general it is a little too early 60s sounding to me (I know it was mid-sixties. . . but it has an early sound to me). Currently Listening to: Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits Volume 2

Mrs Soul - i know what you mean, but i think thats part of the appeal (for me anyhow), the production of it as we all know is a complete mess according to the members of the BS and in no way captures what they really sounded like...oh to hear some top quality bootlegs of the whiskey a go go shows, but as an artefact of the time i love it....i bought my copy when i was 14 and the main reason i bought it was to have "for what its worth"...imagine my disdain when i stuck it on and though listed on the sleeve and label as being the first song...it wasnt on the album at all!!! i quickly realised that i had the much rarer misprint with baby dont scold me on it instead. Bargain.

Currently spinning one the "Pearl Jam - Live At The Gorge" discs; another band that can do little wrong in my eyes, and one I'd go to long lengths to see live.
